History
It is year 1988 when Rural Bank of Pandi chose 18 residents of Manatal to be trained in the so-called Integrated Rural Financing “IRF”, which was then a project of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
IRF was stopped for no concrete reason in the year 1991. The pilot group come up with an idea to convert IRF to cooperative. The aggressiveness of 15 individuals left in the pilot group, became the incorporators of Manatal Coop which was successfully registered to Cooperative Development Authority on August 22, 1991 with registration number MLA-1232.
